My favourites makeup products change completely depending on the season and time of the year. I looove lush deep red and purple lips in winter; and contrasting with that, in spring, I love to have a large variety of nude and natural colour eyes to go with the 'fresh spring' theme. But now arriving into January, I thought I would share with you some of my all time favourite makeup products over the whole of 2016, that you could invest in for the future 2017!
Starting off with my number one favourite makeup item, and my number one foundation. Charlotte Tilbury magic foundation is on the higher end of the price range, but defiantly worth every penny! The finish to the foundation is just perfect and covers with not a light, not a heavy but a perfect medium coverage. Whilst wearing the foundation, made from Hyaluronic Filling Spheres to boost and fill your skin with moisture, it feels as though you have a naked face. The light-weight foundation makes your skin feel clear and as if you have no makeup on. This is a must buy for 2017!
The next favourite I'll be sharing with you is Crystal Clear Repair Moisturiser. Again, a high end product but considering the amount you get versus the price, it's a win-win situation. The moisturiser has a light effect once applied to the skin and, pretty much, instantly absorbs into your pores and face and makes you feel more awake as well as leaving a radiant glow and soft finish to your skin. It was proven that Crystal Clear Skin Repair reduced the wrinkles by a mean depth of 22% and increased skin firmness by 14%. Not only is it for older skin rejuvanation, it's also perfect for younger skin too!
Another Charlotte Tilbury product I absolutely love is the Airbrush Flawless finishing powder, simply because of the long lasting effect it gives off on my makeup through-out the day also because of the matte look it produces without clogging up pores and causing more oil or skin problems.
This is an easy product to use and loved by all! This product works well if you're not so int the full face of makeup and just want a simple natural look, just use this singally and you're well away!
Completely different product change, I'm solo in love with the NARS orgasm blush, the pigment and colour it gives off after just one swoosh of the brush is amazing! My favourite thing about this product is the silky rose gold effect. Not only does it look lush in the packaging it looks lush once applied onto the cheeks. Coming in at a price of £23, for people who are looking for a drugstore dupe, the Sleek rose gold blush looks awfully similar and has an end price of just £4.99.
A cute, but handy product to own, is the NYX lid primer. This stuff makes eyeshadow stick like super glue! Perfect for a night out or a long day at work with a full face of makeup! Considering the primer is as long lasting as any high end eye primer, when attempting to take your makeup off at the end of the day is as easy as pie!
Moving on to a high end product, the Bobbi Brown Black Gel eyeliner is perfect if you are looking for an eyeliner as dark as your soul! the pigment of black produced is unbelievable. it's claim to long lasting wear is 100% correct and It's easy to apply and suits any look, after all black eyeliner is perfect to have handy in your daily makeup bag.
Back onto a drugstore product, the Bourjois Volume Reveal mascara is nearly as good as a high end product. Only £9.99 and I struggle to fault this mascara, at all. This is an beautiful mascara, hitting every point you want to create luscious lashes. There are also different versions of the mascara giving you the option for either, waterproof, ultra black or just plain ole' black!
I'm totally in love with Chanel products but this just takes it to new level. The creme bronzer is ideal for all sorts of looks. It's an easy blend creme bronzer and has a build-able pigment. At £32, the bronzer is easy to get your hands on from high street stores, like Boots, or online.
This product we sell in our own salon GlamR and my lips have felt the softest they have felt in a very long time. the Miss Patisserie brand is not as well known as i feel it should be as the produce some of the loveliest products i have come across. Not just bath bombs and lip balms but a wide variety of unique bath products and face. And last but not least, another Crystal Clear product, Revitalising Tonic is great for damaged, ageing skin, especially dry. This alcohol free toner removes in depth impurities and leaves the skin feeling fresh and clean. If out of time i like to use this product in place of my moisturiser, so this is a very handy product to carry around, pretty much, everywhere with you!
